She looked ghostly white, almost transparent in the darkening blue sky. By the time we pulled into the driveway, the moon was brighter, more solid-looking, and the sun was about to disappear below the horizon.
Yet, it's on nights that are cloudy, when I can't make a visual connection, that I start feeling a sense of distress or panic - it's as though the need to SEE the moon is the most important thing in the world for me at that very moment, and if I don't see her, if the clouds don't break long enough for me to get even the tiniest glimpse, I feel that I'll break apart into a million pieces.
Since being in the company of such special Beings such as you, Trent, and the others who read and post comments to this blog, I understand that my feelings about the moon, her magick and mystery, are not unique. They make me different, but in a good way. The stars take on a whole new perspective. If ever I were to see a full moon in the desert....I know I would never leave it. I've been ruled by the night and the moon for as long as I can remember as well...so I know where you're coming from. Such a blessing to be had from light and dark, both at the same time. Then, at times, to still see the moon during the day....spectacular!!

Namaste,
KrymsonKrymsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07700536408591332903noreply@blogger.com
