Sometimes our lives present us with challenges. The steps we have to take can be shaky at best and downright frightening. Every time we place one foot in front of the other, we risk having all the support that we are used to buckling out from under us. When we think we have sure footing, we often find that concept challenged by the element of surprise that life often has to offer.
But as we climb the stairs of life, we need to understand that we are never alone. If one of those stairs should crumble, Spirit will always provide us with a different option. Sometimes we need to get creative in our approach. For example, in this set of stairs I would be more tempted to only step on the far right or far left edge of the steps. That way I would be placing my weight on what is theoretically the strongest part of the step. I may also be tempted to not climb these steps until I had dieted for about a month or so. There are also some rocks to the side of the stairs, so they would take up the first three or four steps if I used them instead. If anything adverse happened I could quickly jump onto the bamboo frame and slide my way back down. The worst that could happen would be having to start over again. Of course, Spirit may have also by then let me know of a different set of stairs that could be taken. Then there is always the option of teleportation.
What I find very curious though, is what may be behind the steps. Those look like openings that critters could enter. So who knows what lives in there till you actually look?

I'd be taking along a flashlight, some rope, a camera, and some snacks to venture behind the steps. There's a lot to be said for being prepared before embarking upon an adventure, right Boy Sprout? Who knows what lingers beyond the doorways behind the steps? Perhaps a creature no one has ever seen before, or the spirit of someone you thought you may never see again... anything is possible.
How true it is!
